Dr. Casey McCary Bloom was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2006. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Orthodontic Society. After graduation from Dental School,  Dr. Bloom completed a two-year associateship in private practice in North Alabama. The opportunity came up to take over the practice in Fultondale closer to family and home, and so he decided to purchase the practice. The practice continued to grow and expanded into a new location in Gardendale just behind Chick-fil-A off of Fieldstown Road on Sharit Ave. in the Town Center office park. The practice has been in existence for over 40 years. Dr. Bloom feels blessed to be a part of such an experienced staff and to have such wonderful patients. Dr. Bloom and his wife Rachael have been married for over five years now.  They have three sons Sebastian 7 Maccabee 5 and Ignatius 3. Rachael is a homemaker and an artist. Dr. Bloom and his wife Rachael enjoy spending time together as a family taking walks, riding bikes, cooking, reading, and gardening. They attend Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Gardendale. Dr. Bloom’s father, James, is an orthodontist practicing for over 40 years in the Birmingham area and taught Orthodontics at UAB for 18 years. His sister, Helen, is a general dentist and the inventor of Chewable JewelsTM baby teethers. His other sister Bonnie is a Veterinarian Dentist practicing in Dallas, TX. It is evident that Dentistry is a deep passion in Dr. Bloom's family they hold dear to their hearts.
